When I'm near other people, I tend to sweat palms and feet. When standing up to give talks, my legs start shaking like crazy and my hands also. I would appreciate some advice on how to overcome this. I've always been shy my entire life. Thanks.

Hello! I've also always been very shy. I get super red like a tomato it's the worse thing ever! Lately I've been able to control it. The way I do is I mentally prepare myself before it is my turn or before i'm faced with a situation where i'm not comfortable. While i'm mentally preparing myself I also drink water! (So I have water with me everywhere I go) and the last step I do is count backwards from ten and tell myself when i'm done counting i'll be okay and while I'm doing this step I take big, long breathes. This helps me tonssss! I hope it helps you! Good Luck!
Hi! Ever since I started school at the age of 4, I have been a very shy girl. I too get very sweaty when I am around people of when someone says something simple to me like "Hi." When I talk in front of people like a presentation, I get very dizzy and shaking and I have a feeling of wanting to cry. Since it is a constant thing with me, I know some tricks on how to overcome those feelings. I try to breathe in and out for a good time to control my nerves and mental prepare myself every morning by meditating and writing in my journal how I feel.A great app that I use to mentally prepare myself is Headspace. It helps me a lot. I hope my advice helps you!
