Does anyone else take lorazepa...
I took Zoloft as a child and had some undesirable side effects, however they are different from yours. The majority of anxiety/depression medications take several weeks to take effect. So it is normal that you are not yet feeling a change. I would talk to your dr about the side effects if they are bothering you and possibly acting a fast acting medication (like xanax) if needed. You can also look into additional coping strategies to try both while you are waiting for the meds to kick in and to use as a supplement to medication. I have found that I needed to add several things to my life- in addition to medication- to help control my anxiety/depression.
I have and I do feel it helps, so continue to take it as needed because it will make the process easier for you but if your really not a fan ask your doc to change you to clonezapham (klonopin) because that is not tingly and last longer, good for night time. Zoloft should kick in soon.
I don't take lorazepam I take a different benzodiazepine (xanax) but it also causes some numbness. Everyone reacts differently to every medicine. Keep taking your Zoloft because it takes a couple of weeks for it to really start to work good. If it isn't working after about a month or you have bad side effects then go to your doctor and they can get you something else to try. Stay strong and best wishes!
