Hi! I've just joined this group. I joined bc I'm seeking help. My teenage child has severe anxiety but refuses any type of medical help. Her anxiety gets especially worst at this time of year due to the recent loss of Our Grandfather (backbone of our family). May he Rest In Peace. But I was wondering if y'all have any tips. I'd love to help my child but it seems that every attempt I make or everything I do is wrong. It's gottten bad lately and I'm a bit freaked out. She's been pushing me away and at this point idk what to do. Thanks y'all

Why is she refusing medical help? Is she scared? It seems clear to me that this is what she needs. Have you talked through her fears with her? Maybe there is a counsellor at school she could talk to.
