Does anyone know or has experienced the best career for someone who suffers from depression and anxiety? I'm in my late 40' s female with collage degree and state licence. Current work aso a underwriter with large amount of customer service. I have been in this industry for about 15 yrs. Finding it harder to get thru the days. Any thoughts?

Are you bored or more depressed? I don't know anything about business. I worked in the restaurant business as a server and baker. Are you good with computers? Maybe something there. God Bless

sorry I didn't mean to offend you.Let me start over. At first thought, you might think that working at home or alone would be perfect for you , but in the long run it would be giving in to your fears and you would become worse and worse. I was thinking some kind of sales job for instance selling drugs or medical equipment to Doctors offices. I believe the money is good , you could set your own time and cut your meetings short if you didn't feel well. You would be in a medical environment if you happened to need anything and you could be around people if you wanted to be. So check out those pharmaceutical companies. Pam

I always considered paperwork related careers to be the best (at least for me) because I prefer to avoid people (social anxiety). It depends on whether you like working with customers or not, if the latter then maybe you should consider going in a completely different direction?
