I really need someone to talk to right now. At the age of 29 everything started going wrong with me. Anxiety, attacks, major depression... I couldn't go to work and am on a leave ... I feel really hopeless and sad right now ...

I have read your post and can hear that you are in a difficult place where you say everything is going wrong!

And I'm here for you, hearing & listening to what you are saying!

Right now I'm just really depressed. Seems like one day I was functioning normal person and the next I was on medical leave not able to do anything.. I'm laying in bed just really sad but not about anything. I feel really bad about myself

I am so very sorry you are going through this. Have you gone to a doctor? And are you on medication? You are not alone, I am here for you.

You are not alone - I found myself on leave beginning in December because of anxiety and depression. I know this is a hard period but you have to believe it will come together - medicine , therapy and other actions are finally kicking in and I'm beginning after three months to taste a bit more normalcy. Start small and take the time you need

Hi Kat, sorry to hear about this. My anxiety and panic attacks started in my early 30s. Did you take advantage of your employer's Employee Assistance Program? Use it to find a therapist in your area. You might benefit from counseling and maybe medication. I felt "weak" having to take meds but it is a good thing. Stay busy both physically and mentally. Exercise, take a walk, do crossword puzzles, word searches, etc.

Kat- you ARE NOT ALONE! And u have done something positive for yourself by reaching out and posting. When I feel the lowest is when I least feel like reaching out but it is when I need it the most. So even if it is all you can do, check in here and leave a post with an update. And feel good about it because you're taking steps to take care of yourself.
