Hi guys.my name is natasha ice to meet you all I'm not doing as good today came home from work yesterday with the sorest of throats and my chest was all painfull too..last night I couldn't sleep as you know when you have the flu or something it always seems to get worse at night. Well mine was awful the pain in my chest was the worst Ive ever experienced in my life I woke my husband to tell him but he didn't seem to really care I told. Him about my chest pain he told me to go to sleep I was so upset I remember a year ago or 2 ago he had chest pain and I rang for a paramedic and he was rushed into hospital with suspected heart attack luckily he didn't but I reacted quickly because I don't think you can mess with the chest and heart even if it is anxiety any warning should be dealt with. Anyway it took hours to settle down and I finally fell asleep but woke up all panicky and anxious Ive also just read in the news a young woman came home from work on Wednesday with "flu like" symptoms and by Friday she died of meningitis 😩😩 I'm now panicking like nobody's business Ive got the hot sweats and major panic galore now and I feel so ill aswell completely convinced myself Ive got meningitis or something serious does anyone else have this please help xxx
So scared !!!! : Hi guys.my name is... - Anxiety and Depre...
So scared !!!!
You're describing health anxiety...one of the many ways anxiety can show itself. It's an abnormal amount of concern and conjecture about your health driven by anxiety that's too high. This anxiety needs to be treated to bring it under control. You need a good psychiatrist and a good counselor. Nothing can replace these 2 important needs.
You most likely do not have meningitis so let that fear go. Your husband is not panicking because he's aware that it's unlikely that you have meningitis. It doesn't mean he doesn't care, it means he can see that your anxiety is abnormal and out of control. Please get the help you need and recruit your husband for this type of help. You might find he's more cooperative when you ask for help for your anxiety, but don't expect him to understand how you feel unless he's had similar problems. You can come here to find people like me who understand your anxiety. Best wishes to you and for your good health.
Blessings...
I'm so sorry you're feeling this way! Sounds like a panick attack for sure! Often I hear about someone having some kind of illness and I have the same symptoms and think I have what they have, but I try to remember that it doesn't necessarily mean that. Anyway, you should at least get a full checkup just in case. I hope you feel better!! Take care of yourself and listen to some relaxing music!🐶
Hello Auntie Tash, your suffering with the same as what I've been experiencing this last week! I've had chest pains & sore throat, which I thought I might be having a heart attack! I've had insomnia headaches, and my lady problems acting all weird I'm starting to think that there could be something else wrong! (all of this thing to do with Grandad) I have not suffered with any of this for quite a few months! I have been fine I've been out & about socialising (which is very unusual for me) because of my agoraphobia! Then all of a sudden bam! All of my anxiety is back!
Hope your well and feeling better soon! Sending you lots of family kisses and snugs! Love you xxx
