Hii I have anxiety and depression for the past 2 years and try to cope with it and I've been wanting to get help but therapy doesn't work for me an either does medication which only puts me to sleep or makes my body feel numb. I just want to know is there any other way

Meditation and Mindfulness have helped a lot of people. Have you looked into that? Also you stated that therapy doesn't work. How come? Sometimes it takes several attempts until you can find the right therapist for you. It's a relationship that needs to work for both parties to be successful. Hopefully others here will have some more suggestions for you.
Hi Jay. Sometimes it's reasonable to take a break from therapy and try something new and refreshing. I know you've probably heard this before...but have you tried exercise? Like I mean really working out regularly every day for at least 2 weeks? Sometimes it takes a while for you to feel the benefits of exercise in combination with other things like maybe a milder form of medication and a social group. Some hobby group that has nothing to do with therapy or depression. I have found the most solice in emersing myself in things that distract me from myself. (For me that was exploring nature and finding new places I've never visited) I do know how you feel. I wish you the best of luck! If you find something great please share
I have been through so many therapists, and i finally found the one for me! She is great. She has helped me so much. Exercise on the other hand I miss,I walk and it helps. I have fibromyalgia and its not easy anymore. I think back about 8 years ago, I used to be so active but not anymore,thats the hardest part.
