Update on a new continence site

Hi everyone

I thought I'd finished for the time being writing on this subject. Then, a few weeks ago, Mrs Ogden noted an interesting advertisement in my local paper about a new patient group that was forming. They were looking for people with continence issues and they have created a web site called the Continence Product Advisor. It is a collaboration between the International Consultation on Incontinence (ICI) and the International Continence Society (ICS).

The good thing for us is that it's an international group. As well as having a vast selection of product advice for both men and women, it can direct you to suppliers in your own country.

I hope you find it useful and reassuring. I have been in touch with them and am expecting to take part in a series of meetings between patients and clinicians working in this area. The aim is to further research. I will let you know when this happens and what comes of it.

I'm happy to have a site like this to refer to ~ I haven't looked it over thoroughly yet, but just the thought of simple guidance to assist in choosing products is wonderful! This has been an area that can be as emotionally disabling as anything else for many of us.
