Spring Is In the Air with a Trike!

I just saw a post on NextDoor, a social networking service for neighborhoods, of someone selling their adult trike. I started googling and came across various ones:

How cool is this? By the way, the pic I posted got rave reviews. I love it!

Wheels, man. Love them.

Thank god I can still ride a bike. Quality of life, and that.

Really? Two wheels? I'm impressed! Haven't ridden in years and now I won't even attempt it.

I’ve been looking for something like this as I can’t ride a normal bike now. Do you know if any of these fold? As it would be difficult to get it into my apartment.

I'm right there with you on this. The one I saw for sell did fold so I googled and some came up at this site which includes electric as well! I swear electric is the route for me because my feet would not bear the constant peddling.

Since you're in Canada, I'm sure there are dealers there that can provide you service should the need arise. Please post back and let us know if you decide to get one.

And a note to others who can still ride a 2 wheeler. Embrace and be mindful of the joy. As AMN progresses, we adapt. If you're not riding and you can, I would seriously consider it. Just my .03 %

: )

I looked at this and the main issue for me would be weight - 65 lb. So, heavy for lifting int the boot (trunk).

If you are going electric have you looked at travelscoot.com/

US distribution. Almost no servicing required, and when it does, the local bike shop will suffice. I have taken mine on trains, buses.

Chris, yes, oh, the weight. I did a lot of research and now I am able to remotely man my power chair up a multifold ramp into my hatchback! I separated them into two so that the heaviest weight is 20 lbs.

I guess my eyes glossed over at the thought of bike riding. I'm very happy with my chair and now won't have to break that sucker down : )

However, I do like the travelscoot's portability and the accompanied video link which showed a wagon attached! That is so cool!

Not what you're looking for?
