i'd just like to say that i was advised from taking magnesium citrate to taking magnesium glycinate to help with my anxious/hormonal pms type of symptoms and it helped.
please try youtube slow steady heartbeat, i'd have it on all day sometimes, it honestly helped a lot! don't stop looking for what can can calm you - make it a mission - and remember how the breath and heart are linked, fast breathing, fast heart rate - and you can only hold one thought at a time - make it a good one as often as you can! read lots of inspirational books and watch as much funny films as you can handle - hunt down ways not to feel anxious, find which ones suit you and have many different ones for different days - don't give in, it's a crap way to live. pm me anytime if you like, i might have other suggestions!x
i made up a playlist of all sorts of soothing sounds -there are hundreds on youtube, take some time to find what ones you like, i found some annoying!! so it's personal choice, and a worthy way to while away time. it did not work in bed for me, but if i needed to rest through the day, and couldn't read or settle, i'd put on the playlist. hope you find something/anything that works for you!
