I’m on my 9th cabitaxel infusion now, after docetaxel. I switched after seven infusions as a scan showed bone met growth.

The fatigue is not fun, but it’s better than being underground. Exploring LU 177 as the next option. Possible docetaxel re challenge. At my stage, it’s just fighting the best rearguard action.

I went thru similar chemo, did it for about one year. 10 Docetaxol and 7 Jevtana with carboplatin. Told my DR I wanted to try LU177 (Pluvicto). I am psma avid. The side effects for me are minimal and I feel so much better. Chemo kicked my butt but LU177 is showing signs of working

That’s great to hear. Dad’s PSA kept rising after 2 Pluvicto injections so doctor deemed it unsuccessful. He was PSMA avid on scan too. I pray it works well for you

I would do some research about Pluvicto. My understanding is PSA is not a way to track disease progression while on it. If a scan shows progression I would agree with your DR not psa alone. Best to you

I also had 7 Docetaxel and then 10 Cabazitaxel infusions. I found the Cabazitaxel easier to tolerate. My PSA climbed throughout but the scans showed there was no new spread of the cancer. The chemo kept the cancer from spreading. After almost a year on chemo I have lost muscle mass and have neuropathy in my legs.

I am so sorry to hear that, it’s so hard when you poison your body with chemo to get rid of the cancer. Dad only had his PSA measured after 1st chemo. It dropped 11 points. He hasn’t gotten his second PSA back before 3rd chemo.

My dad’s PSA dropped 1st chemo and went up 2nd chemo. I’m hoping it’s just a chemo flare.
