Cabazitaxel/Jetvana

My dad is on about year 20 with prostate cancer. He has failed Docetaxel and Pluvicto within the last year. His PSA 60. Scan showed 60 spots in his bones with 15-20 being bigger. He is starting chemo next week again? Anyone have positive experience with Cabazitaxel/Jetvana?

my husband has competed his 4th round he’s a little tired for the first week after then 2 great weeks until chemo again . Very few side effects and a declining psa - good luck for your dad

After one round of cabazitaxel plus carboplatin, my PSA dropped by about 58%. This may be an aberrant reading or something, but that strikes me (and my oncologist's NP) as a big drop. I just had round 2 today, and will update when I get my next PSA test result. For round 1, my biggest side effect was fatigue, which hit on day 2 and lasted almost a week. My hair is starting to fall out, but not in clumps yet, just a lot of strands.
