Update on dads visit with his MO today

Took dad to his MO today, the appointment I was dreading, I was thinking they would say, were done since he has suspected LMD . This was not the case at all. His labs were all better than they have ever been, psa was 2 and kidney functions, testosterone everything was better than they have ever been, stable bone mets, heading into year 8 with stage 4. His oncologist says dad is doing very well and he had him do some coordination and strength tests and he did extremely well. Dads last MRI of the brain showed EITHER a mild increase in LMD OR increased inflammation from post radiation changes. It has been 7 months now since finding the dural mass behind his brain which they think is a grade 2 meningioma vs prostate ca.

They gave him his lupron and xgeva shot and refilled his xtandi, follow up mid july in 6 months. He said that dad has some tangential speech going on (subject jumping) but overall for almost 91 he's doing very well. Dad has no pain, he hasnt taken a pain pill in over 5 years, he has stable bone mets from ribs to pelvis, however the past few weeks he's had a bit more brain fog and a harder time walking with his walker which he said could be from the brain inflammation or late effects from post whole brain radiation. Dad goes Friday to get his cataract taken care of and he's very excited. I bought a lightweight chair with wheels for around the house, my mom was against it because she wants him walking but he's fallen a few times lately and I explained to her that he's not being lazy by not walking, he has a brain tumor and lmd and needs some assistance when getting to farther distances in the house...mom is 89 and drives and runs the neighbors around and takes care of dad, she's a tough cookie too.

That sounds great! I'm scared to ask this, though... Has he been vaccinated or booster shots for COVID-19? If yes, PLEASE, PLEASE pay close attention to that cranial area of concern. If he presents w a bad headache, call 911 immediately. I now have THREE males, all diagnosed w PC w mets, from different areas in my life (they are not related) who had some form of bleeding brain trauma suddenly occur, requiring craniotomies. Two of the 3 passed away shortly thereafter, being unable to keep platelet #s up. The third is my Dad and he is going downhill fast 😭😭. Upon researching the heck out of everything I could, I've come to realize that this is a scary new trend being called 'turbo cancer' by some. Prostate cancer used to be one of the less scary diagnosis, but I'm totally shocked by the vast numbers of stories like mine that are popping up ALL over the place. One of the most survivable cancers is now killing people within 18 months of diagnoses, always having something to do with the blood in their cranium .. I pray that I'm wrong and wish you all the best in life, regardless. Just treat headaches with utmost diligence..

He did have 2 covid shots in 2020. Dad gets 3 months MRI's now on his brain to monitor the tumor. I agree with the fact that prostate cancer used to be the disease that people didnt die from now my dad AND my brother have it and dad is in the low rare percent that they think it might have invaded his leptomeninges although they didnt write him off and he's still here 7 months later doing pretty good at 90. His oncologist and radiation oncologist have a super close eye on him and they are in sync with his treatments and handling things as they come, they are really on top of everything, I'm super grateful. Sorry about your dad too, its painful to go through with a loved one, its a roller coaster of heartache, I'm such a daddys girl, my dad said yesterday that I was the spoiled one, haha.

Me too, I was a daddy's girl my whole life, but the tomboy kind. Following in his footsteps. I just lost him yesterday. I'm totally wrecked😭 trying to help others is my attempt at solace, I guess. It's the spike protein. Look into spike detox and pubmed papers on fenbendazole.. I hope you get to keep both of yours longer than I had mine💔
