PSA drops quickly

Been lurking on this site for a few months now and would like to know what you guys think about my situation. In 2009 I had prostate removed follow by 5 weeks of radiation. Have not done anything but watch my psa slowly rise for the last 14 years. Then 3 months ago psa got to 5.5 and a psma pet scan showed cancer on my hip. 30 days ago they zapped my hip with 5 rounds of radiation and I started Erleada and 2 firmagone shots. I got a psa yesterday and it was .25 which seems like a good drop in 30 days. My testosterone is at 39. I have a doctors appointment next week to discuss results and what to do from here. I had no idea the psa would drop that fast. I thought it would take months or a year. Anyone with a similar experience please comment.

There are experts here, I’m just one more warrior. But to my knowledge this is a pretty fast drop. Reduction may mainly come from Firmagon and Erleada as it often takes months until you experience an effect from radiation. But doing well - just my personal opinion.

Firmagon dropped my PSA immediately as well. Switched to Lupron and Zytiga, after about 18 months, the PSA started to slowly rise.
