Erleada

I have Stage 4 PCa and I was on 250 mg/day Erleada (apalutamide ) for less than a year when I broke out in a rash. I paid $3000 co-pay for the medication in 2024 and I still have an unopened bottle (30 tablets) and an opened bottle with 21 tablets. Anyone interested in these tablets?

My MO wants me to move to Erleada but is not really explaining why - any ideas?

Has anyone had this reaction to Erleada? I've had a couple side effects with this drug, it can lower WBC. I didn't expect to see the RBC and hemoglobin also. Doug

One year on Erleada and PSA is rising. I had an Orchiectomy in Aug of '23 to shut down the tetestorone. I have extensive mets in my backbone. Looking options besides chemotherapy for the next phase in this battle.

Has anyone tried taking erleada after the failures of xandi(enzalutamide) and zytiga(abiraterone)? If so, how did it go?

The Orgovyx and Erleada websites are no help. Can anyone shed more light on the subject?

Seems that after only 16 months of treatment this combination is no more effective. PSA is back to a little bit over 4.The last PET in November showed that the lymph nodes are not affected anymore ad shown by the previous PET from June 2023, but some more metastasis have shown on the right femur. I've been on Lupron only since 2018 and I know we'll discuss the topic of adding Zytiga, Xtandi, Darolutamide, of Erleada. Is it OK to add any of those while I'm early into radiation?

I’m looking for a possible treatment that will not completely cause my blood work to get worse. Has apalutamide been successful to others.

numbers began to climb after about 1 year of Luperon; added Erleada. Now over the last 8 weeks psa doubling and tripling, at .97 currently. Thoughts on next steps; trial of taxotere/jevtana?

He has been on Lupron shots and Erleada and his last PSA test was at .03 in October which is good. My concern is the last week he’s been really tired and is starting to get some pain again. My question is can things change even though his PSA has been constantly decreasing?

Father has mCRPC to many areas in the bone. After Jevtana and Pluvicto fail, recommendation was to start Xofigo but his hemoglobin level is currently low at 7.8-8.0 Anyone have any success switching to other ADT type therapies in the meantime? Goal is to get some time to recover those hemoglobin numbers

I’m currently taking Eligard and on Erleada. Prescribed a prednisone pack and suggested tart cherry juice and glucosamine could help. Any other warriors dealing with this? Good news is that PSA is down to .1 and I remain castrate sensitive entering eighth month of doublet therapy.

Yesterday I was offered an opportunity to drop the Eligard and start a Erleada mono therapy. This is something I had researched for the past year and thought given the opportunity I would take it.

Would adding Erleada instead of doing the Chemo a possible or viable option? Thanks in advance

If I need to go on one of the more expensive Meds like Erleada or Zytiga next year if will cost me 2000.00 for the year, am I missing something? All help is appreciated. Thank you all!!!

I am really concerned because he has not been able to see his oncologist to find out what he can do next if Erleada isn’t working.
