Almost forgot I have PC

I have been off the grid for a while. Back in late November, I started having bladder problems including bleeding, urgency, frequency and incontinence. In December I was diagnosed with stage 3/b bladder cancer. In late January I had open Cystectomy and was in the hospital for 10 days. My MO put my PC on hold while dealing with this new challenge. I am now getting Immunotherapy (Opdivo) every 4 weeks for a whole year. In the mean time my PSA has risen from 0.42 before the bladder surgery to 0.67 in 2 months after the surgery. My MO will start ADT if I'm tolerating the Opdivo infusions. A decision will be made after my second Opdivo infusion and another PSA test and PT scan.

You can probably wait a while before restarting ADT to allow for more full recovery from the surgery. Some testosterone recovery greatly aids in healing, and the interruption should not be detrimental in the overall picture, like IADT.
