Biopsy Gleason 4+3 with mets to presacral lymph nodes as per PSMA scan. 45 radiation treatments ended Dec. 2 started Eligard Oct 8. December 23rd PSA 0.16, T <10. Urologist wants to add abi+ prednisone to Eligard for total of 24 months. Currently only minor SE with Eligard.

Had 45 radiation treatments and currently on first 6 month Eligard injection. Original PSA of 16 now down to 0.16. Urologist wants 24 months of Eligard and now wants to add Zytiga. PSMA showed no mets other than the presacral nodes.

Hello All , Im currently on a 5 month Vacation from ADT ( Eligard ) , 33 months , and Zytiga and Prednisone at 31 months .. I had recurrence with 1 lymph node in 2021, Oligometatastic that was zapped also radiation across my pelvic area .Ive had 5 monthly Labs since and PSA still undetectable .

17 yr in on Erleada and Eligard looking to start Ozempic looking for input to anyone that is taking this regiment or how Ozempic is affecting others. TIA

I was on eligard and zitiga for 2 years with successful results. I have been on a vacation for the last 23 months. In the last few months I've developed a soreness in my breast. My oncologist said it's from the testosterone blockers, nothing to worry about.

Started in- had radiation for 42 days, 2019 recurred and had hormone therapy, 2022 metastasized and received eligard and xtendi, 2023 xtendi no longer effective and he was changed to eligard and Lynparza. August 2024, PET scan showed increased cancer so Lynparza was discontinued.

I started hormone therapy abitaterome and eligard in April for metastatic prostate cancer. I feel great. When I started my psa was 125. In June it was 7. But my last test in September it was still psa 7. Didn’t go down. Doctor not happy. Would like to see it at 0. Any thoughts ?

I am on Eligard, Abiraterone, Prednisone, and Xgeva. I found an MO who ordered Next Generation Sequencing from Caris based on the original prostate biopsy dated October 2023. The results show MMR deficiency, MSI-High and TMB High with 34 mutations/Mb.

I’m currently taking Eligard and on Erleada. Prescribed a prednisone pack and suggested tart cherry juice and glucosamine could help. Any other warriors dealing with this? Good news is that PSA is down to .1 and I remain castrate sensitive entering eighth month of doublet therapy.

been on Abi eligard and prednisone for 18 months now…..glucose had been in normal range but most recent was 163……should I make arrangements to start taking an anti diabetic agent or wait to see if a couple more readings are in this range?

Yesterday I was offered an opportunity to drop the Eligard and start a Erleada mono therapy. This is something I had researched for the past year and thought given the opportunity I would take it.

I will keep getting a Eligard shots every three months ,Abiraterone four pills a day with prednisone, and to keep me bones hard denosumab every six months I would love to keep something else hard now and again ,but that me shipmates is a C story for another day. Fair winds to Ye

I’m supposed to get a 3 mo eligard injection at this time…..should I forego this injection?…..RO is not my primary doc and he says 2 months……it will be months before I will know anyway but I do want to give the radiation time to work it’s “magic”……

I don’t recall any such after-effects from my previous ADT injections; whether Lupron or Eligard. Maybe my goofy old brain just forgot! Was my experience yesterday unusual? Sorry to bother y’all with such a trivial question 😉

Has anyone taken Credtor due to high triglycerides and if so what are the side effects or mixture with Erleada and Eligard

PSA 0.1 since 02/2018 only treatment so far is Eligard every six months Zytiga Prednisone and Provenge back in 2019 . While my quality of life has changed significantly the key word here is life.

I have been on Eligard since I was diagnosed with metastatic PCa in 2016 and my psa has been usually negligible. Have had radiation, chemotherapy (Docetaxel) and SBRT to 2 areas (T10 vertebrae & 6th rib) over the years.

This after completing chemo and radiation therapy and on-going hormone therapy with Eligard and abiraterone. I asked my provider what can we do now to fight the cancer which is still present in my body. They said “just go live your life”.
