17 yr in on Erleada and Eligard looking to start Ozempic looking for input to anyone that is taking this regiment or how Ozempic is affecting others. TIA

Has anyone taken Credtor due to high triglycerides and if so what are the side effects or mixture with Erleada and Eligard

Started in- had radiation for 42 days, 2019 recurred and had hormone therapy, 2022 metastasized and received eligard and xtendi, 2023 xtendi no longer effective and he was changed to eligard and Lynparza. August 2024, PET scan showed increased cancer so Lynparza was discontinued.

I started hormone therapy abitaterome and eligard in April for metastatic prostate cancer. I feel great. When I started my psa was 125. In June it was 7. But my last test in September it was still psa 7. Didn’t go down. Doctor not happy. Would like to see it at 0. Any thoughts ?

been on Abi eligard and prednisone for 18 months now…..glucose had been in normal range but most recent was 163……should I make arrangements to start taking an anti diabetic agent or wait to see if a couple more readings are in this range?

Anyone else taking this this with Xtandi and 3 month Eligard shots.? It has the normal scary list of SEs. What have been other's experiences?

I’m currently taking Eligard and on Erleada. Prescribed a prednisone pack and suggested tart cherry juice and glucosamine could help. Any other warriors dealing with this? Good news is that PSA is down to .1 and I remain castrate sensitive entering eighth month of doublet therapy.

Yesterday I was offered an opportunity to drop the Eligard and start a Erleada mono therapy. This is something I had researched for the past year and thought given the opportunity I would take it.

Doctor told me that he never had a patient Eligard does not work at all at the beginning. He asked me to go thru with PSMA scan and start to take Xtandi. He said there is a possibility I may also go thru with a testicle removal surgery. Is there anybody who has similar experience?

For 3 years I was on Eligard/Xtandi and was receiving Prolia to help keep bone health. All good, undetectable. Then an 18 month vacation, which I am coming off of. All treatment to be the same as before, except th MO wants to change from Prolia to Zometa.

I am on Eligard every 2 months and Erleada 4x daily my O is wanting to change this after 2.5 yet to remove the Eligard and replace it with Camcevi. Is anyone taking Camcevi and if so what are the side affects.

I don’t recall any such after-effects from my previous ADT injections; whether Lupron or Eligard. Maybe my goofy old brain just forgot! Was my experience yesterday unusual? Sorry to bother y’all with such a trivial question 😉

I have been on Eligard since I was diagnosed with metastatic PCa in 2016 and my psa has been usually negligible. Have had radiation, chemotherapy (Docetaxel) and SBRT to 2 areas (T10 vertebrae & 6th rib) over the years.

My husband has been on Eligard and Xtandi since 2021. He’d been undetectable until this past November when his psa rose to 0.004, detectable. But then he became undetectable once more until yesterday’s psa test when it became detectable again.

Does this mean that the Xtandi/Eligard is not working anymore?

This after completing chemo and radiation therapy and on-going hormone therapy with Eligard and abiraterone. I asked my provider what can we do now to fight the cancer which is still present in my body. They said “just go live your life”.

I checked my home records and I had an Eligard injection on May 3rd and another today, therefore shouldn’t affect psa levels. So I have had two in 16 weeks instead of two in 26 weeks. Does this matter? Any advice would be appreciated.

His MO is starting him on lynparza and told him to go ahead and d/c xtandi and will continue with eligard shots every 3 months. Is it typical to d/c xtandi at this time since he showed radiographic progression while on xtandi/eligard and is now MCRPC? Thanks

So this may make me rethink about stopping Eligard , abi , and pred. Any thoughts on this would be helpful . Thank You , SemperFi , JJ
