I just received the results of my PSA and Testosterone blood test back this evening. My PSA is still tracking at .01 ng/mL
Previous PSA Levels: 12/2/2022 - .01 ng/mL; 11/4/2022 - .01 ng/mL; 7/28/2022 - .01 ng/mL; PSA 6/24/2022 - 1.67 ng/mL.
However; my Testosterone level today was 276 ng/dL. Previous Testosterone levels: 12/2/2022 - 11 ng/dL; 7/28/2022 - 11 ng/dL
My first Eligard injection was 6/24/2022 (30 mg) and my last Eligard injection was on 10/21/2022 (45 mg). I'm not scheduled for another Eligard injection (30 mg) until 4/21/2023.
Obviously it's a good sign that my PSA has not increased, but I am concerned my testosterone level is so high. Is there a reasonable explanation as to why my testosterone would be so high. I wouldn't think I've grown immune to Eligard after only being on it for 8 months thus far. I have sent an email to my Dr asking the same question, and I have an upcoming appointment with him on Wednesday March 8th.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
