I was diagnosed in November 2018. PSA 8.14, Gleason 7, (4+3), T3b. I had EBRT to the prostate bed and bicalutamide. PSA then rose again to 8.47ng/ml until November 2020. I then had a Gallium68 Pet Scan. This showed Mets to the pelvic lymph nodes. I had further EBRT to the whole pelvic bed. The EBRT brought my PSA down to 0.56ng/ml. PSA then gradually rose again while taking bicalutamide. I switched to decapeptyl injections every three months. PSA then dropped again but quickly started to rise again to 4.37ng/ml. I have just had a further Galliun68 Pet Scan. This shows Mets to both ribs, lower and upper spine and adrenal glands. My consultant has told me this PC is particularly nasty and seen in about 1 in a hundred men. I am now scheduled to take abiraterone and continue with the decapeptyl injections. Can someone give me any honest guidelines and advice on how long abiraterone may work in my case? Is there anything else I could be doing? I live in Northern Ireland and under the NHS. Thanks, Scranbag (Jeremy).

thanks for the reply. I have not performed NGS and would not know how to about it. Could you please advise me on the expression of my PCA? When diagnosed in 2018 it was all in the left-hand side of the prostate and seminal vessels. PSA is currently 4.27.
