Flomax and PC

Was taking Flomax before being diagnosed with PC, Gleason 8

Had 45 radiation treatments, currently taking Zytiga and Prednisone daily and monthly injections of Firmagon. Question: Should I stop taking Flomax while being treated for PC? Thanks in advance.

If you still need it, take it. If you no longer need it, you can stop.

I have been on two Flomax a day since April 2003 with Brachytherapy. In 2004 I received my first injection of Lupron and shortly commenced on a six month chemotherapy with hormone therapy clinical trial. I still take two Flomax daily. If I were to only take one or if I stopped, I have urination difficulties. If you don’t need, stop. If you need, and you will know rather quickly, then re-start. Taking Flomax has no negative interaction with prostate cancer treatment.
