Update on Keytruda

Just had my fourth Keytruda infusion so I received my PSA result for my third infusion, for reference at the start my PSA was 34.

Start. PSA 34.5

1st infusion. PSA. 21.2

2nd infusion PSA 11.4

3rd infusion.PSA 12.8

I also had another PSA 6 days after my 3rd infusion and PSA was 14.6.

So I will see the results of my choline PET scan on Tuesday but I’m worried Keytruda is failing and not sure what other options I have.

We’ll see what the scan says and go from there. Stay strong and keep fighting!

Best of luck to you. Crazy how Keytruda works best with a heavy mutation load where nothing else seems to work. Keep up the great results. Life is Good.

That’s the deal - I think they had me at like 46 or 47 mutations and the Pembro just knocked the shit out of it.

My mutation load was 0.46, way to low to let it work.... supposed to give me better chance to carry on, but already changed some to CRPC after 4 yrs. Yours is crazy high, but lets Pembro work for you. Hope you keep it knocked out of the ball park....

Having my second infusion on Thursday Sept 23. Hope to not have as many side effects as the first one.

Good luck and keep it coming!! Infusion #20 coming my way Oct 6!

Severe fatigue, low platelets requiring transfusions, change in how all foods taste like, temp as high as 103, skin rash all over body.

Sorry to hear about the side effects and hope you feel better moving forward. Hang tough! I know sometimes the treatments feel worse than the disease.

Here to support you brother!
