Hubby has done just about everything, years of Lupron, casadex, zytiga, xtandi, taxotere, now on jevtana (which does not appear to be working as psa continues to rise.) Now Dr wants to try a radium treatment in the nuclear med department as a last option. HAS ANYONE GONE THIS DIRECTION AND, IF SO, CAN YOU SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND POSSIBLE RESULTS. Thanks in advance.

Hate hate hate this auto correct as I don't remember to check before posting ... sorry!
Not to worry, you can always edit your posts. I have to do it all the time.
Yes, just hit that 'More v' option.
This is the info provided by the FDA about Xofigo (Ra 223)

If he did not have Provenge, you should discuss the possibility of doing this treatment. It could be done along with Xofigo
If he can, it seems to improve the result if he adds Provenge. Maybe email this link to his oncologist:

The guys I've known who have had Xofigo had no side effects from it. In fact, it relieved bone pain.
I finished xofigo a few weeks ago. No side effects accept loose stools.
Is it Radium 22( I think). My husband had all those treatments In fortunately it only bought him time.
I just finished #6 infusion of Radium 223 last week. It helped several bone pain spots. Other than a little nausea and fatigue it was easily tolerated. My psa stopped rising and stayed around 33.
That’s Great! ‼️
