Go with trial of platinum based chemo and parp inhibitor. Probably better results.

I assume you have some sort of ATM/BRCA mutation? It's an interesting combination. Do you have many bone mets?

I'd just make sure that getting Radium223 does not exclude you from getting Lu177/Ac225 or similar down the road.

Best of luck with the trial. Olaparib seems to work in about 76% of patients with BRCA:

There are other clinical trials for Olaparib in prostate cancer, including one with Lu 177 PSMA treatment:

My husband is in a 6-month trial of Radium 223 and olaparib here in San Diego. He is just finishing month 3. Do you know how I could find out if Lu177/Ac225 might not be a treatment for him in the future because he is in this Radium 223/olaparib trial right now. I’m worried because he has exhausted all other treatments! Thx in advance!

On some clinical trials for Lu177, prior Rd223 treatment would exclude patients. However, it's only for those clinical trials. Outside clinical trials, I'm not sure (My "guess" is that he should be able to get it). Perhaps someone else has an answer to your question on this forum if you re-post it.

I did not qualify for the trials. They want me to take chemo before they will qualify me for any of the olaparib or Ra 233 trials
