Tingle toes

I take Lupron, Zytiga, Prednisone in standard doses. When I first started taking it last year, I noticed a very slight tingling in the top half of my middle two toes in the morning but it seemed to disappear once I got underway for the day...

Now, a year later taking same doses of Lupron/Zytiga/Prednisone, and supplementing 8 weeks ago with Life Extension Bone Restore [Calcium, Vit D & K2], and Concentrace Trace Mineral drops for, Magnesium and Boron supplement, I have tingling in my middle three toes from top to bottom and it doesn't go away once I'm up and about.

My standard blood work is same and within boundaries.

Anybody have an idea what's possibly up?

Thanks.

I had neuropathy when diagnosed and after 18 months of those three drugs I now can’t lay down without my legs aching and driving me crazy all night. I had no extra issues until I stopped the drugs which is weird but that’s what happened. May not be related but I can’t get any dr to say anything except take more drugs. Good luck.

I think some neuropathy is common as we get older, especially if blood sugar is high. Bad idea to supplement with Vitamins and minerals if you don't need them - they can cause problems.

Sounds like neuropathy. However I have never heard of zytiga prednisone and Lupron causing neuropathy.

I have neuropathy from a different drug. I take the following:

1. Mirapex 1 tablet 0.25mg - prescription

2. Gabapentin 2 capsules (300mg) - prescription

3. Acetyl L-Carnitine 1 capsule 500mg - over the counter

4. Leg Cramps (by Hylands) 2 tablets over the counter

5. Aleve PM 2 220mg - over the counter. Because Aleve can cause liver damage with long term use I have substituted Zyflamend 1 capsule.

I take each of these drugs at least 20 minutes apart in the early evening. This helps me get a good nights sleep. The effects last all day long.

Ok, just because I'm not buff like you there's no need for name calling.

Sounds like the the complex where I live. I miss going to the fitness center. All this self isolation is putting pounds on me. I use to put in a half hour on the elliptical. Great for burning calories and for sleeping.

Take care

Other posts have explained that it could be diabetic neuropathy. However there is one other possibility not yet mentioned. You could have stenosis or some other neurological problem in your back.

Hey, thanks all of you guys for your input, it all helps. For Nalakrats, I was 65 in May and had not had a history of health issues before this. I did reflect and found that sugar had crept back into my diet and removed it. It seems to have helped. Funny thing, though was that I had no neuropathy before diagnosis 2/19 and drugs when there was much more sugar in my diet. I'll check in if it goes away after the sugar omission. Thanks again you guys. KJMinPhx - I did pop something in my middle back/5th rib area. More later...

An ideal setup. I see a lot of hesitation in members coming back to gyms.
