Last year, at age 44, operated PC Davinci.Psa before surgery 30.Gs 3 + 4, pN0-0 / 17, negative resection margin, pT3a, R0, L1, V0.

6 weeks PO PSA 0.31 then 0.35 and 0.52.

Psma Ga negative. Started ADT 6 months and radiotherapy 33 times. After radiation 2 months first PSA 0.013. Now I am taking out a new PSA in 3 weeks.

Do you have any advice for me? I wish you all the best.

Your doctor didn't mention Lupron before radiation? This seems to be the standard treatment for prostate cancer.

I had 2 hormon injection,testosteron dropped to 0,5

Now, all you can do is wait. As the ADT wears off, your PSA may rise a bit, but as long as it gets no higher than 0.2, you're OK.

BTW- what does L1 and V0 mean? R means recurrent, and because you had persistent PSA, you should be labelled R1.

TA now i have great news.Last PSA drop to 0,009 from 0,024 after 2 monhts.

Testosteron grow from 1,1 to 1,4.

Keep active with cardio and some strength training . I also recommend simple bone nutrients and a clean diet . Exercise is key to improving almost everything .with lethargy and fatigue comes a withering effect on our muscle joints and bones. We now should eat heart healthy and get cardio. We are at more risk after treatments of cv issues.. I’m 41/2 yrs clear out of five with APC . Remission so to speak. But I’m still on adt and it does some Sebastian to the system .. Live healthy and live longer ... Good luck .

You are 41 years,4 stage,2 years clear? That mean you have PC at 39 years?

in reply to Brano975

No , my chicken scratching wasn’t clear . Sorry about that . I was 53 now 59 in May. Ive had four and one half years in remission .

Sebastian. Is that what that is? Please elaborate. I would call the effects of ADT something less dignified.

I don’t understand?

I thought I saw in a reply from you in this that you used the term "Sebastian" and I did not understand the reference. And now I cannot find it! Must be my chemo muddled brain.

Your approach to date sounds logical to me. I think your next step is important, that is nipping any PC recurrence in the bud - hoping of course that it doesn't recur. IN the event that your PSA rises to 0.2ng/ml (biochemical recurrence), monitor PSA carefully and when it gets to say 0.5 get a PET PSMA scan done. The sensitivity is only about 50% but it means you detect it early and before if metastasizes into bone, which augers well for treating the PC with Lu177 (which hopefully will be available in the USA by that time) if it is PSMA-avid.

All the best. Rob

Advice? Not smart enough to offer advice. Wish you well and it appears you are doing well. This "advice" might seem obvious but it has been a theme in this forum: see sure you get your blood tested at the same lab consistently. Differences between labs need to unnecessary worry of your part.

My RP (Gleason 4+3) and IMRT in my mid 50’s gave me a 7.5 year remission. With low PSA and no scans, Taxotere plus more radiation have given me another remission 3 years and counting. Exercise and diet are important.
