Keep active with cardio and some strength training . I also recommend simple bone nutrients and a clean diet . Exercise is key to improving almost everything .with lethargy and fatigue comes a withering effect on our muscle joints and bones. We now should eat heart healthy and get cardio. We are at more risk after treatments of cv issues.. I’m 41/2 yrs clear out of five with APC . Remission so to speak. But I’m still on adt and it does some Sebastian to the system .. Live healthy and live longer ... Good luck .
I thought I saw in a reply from you in this that you used the term "Sebastian" and I did not understand the reference. And now I cannot find it! Must be my chemo muddled brain.
Good job catching it before stage four and Metz . That’s a different game that you don’t want to play in . It’s possible that you are cured. We carry a ticking enemy inside. It’s up to us to enjoy life and keep it at bay .. it almost always comes back if we live long enough . I m in the eye of the storm. Your approach to date sounds logical to me. I think your next step is important, that is nipping any PC recurrence in the bud - hoping of course that it doesn't recur. IN the event that your PSA rises to 0.2ng/ml (biochemical recurrence), monitor PSA carefully and when it gets to say 0.5 get a PET PSMA scan done. The sensitivity is only about 50% but it means you detect it early and before if metastasizes into bone, which augers well for treating the PC with Lu177 (which hopefully will be available in the USA by that time) if it is PSMA-avid.
Advice? Not smart enough to offer advice. Wish you well and it appears you are doing well. This "advice" might seem obvious but it has been a theme in this forum: see sure you get your blood tested at the same lab consistently. Differences between labs need to unnecessary worry of your part.
My RP (Gleason 4+3) and IMRT in my mid 50’s gave me a 7.5 year remission. With low PSA and no scans, Taxotere plus more radiation have given me another remission 3 years and counting. Exercise and diet are important.
