xofigo Anyone?

Have experience with XOFIGO? Oncologist wants to put me in a program which says it reduces pain and extends life an average of 3 - 6 months.

Finished 6 treatmen middle of november,,felt better,psa,did not go up or down,,stayed around the same # I am still alive

Made my husband so miserable. His mets became more painful and he could hardly walk. Wanted to stop before the last one but they told him no. I have no idea what it was supposed to do but wasn't long after that he became paralyzed.

Just finished full six treatments. No obvious side effects that I had. AKP when up then down. Did not seem to lower PSA. Watch red and white blood counts. Mine took a big hit with Xofigo. Time will tell the value of the treatment . Any pain I had did go away.
