At 4.4 your WBC is in the acceptable range.

Your WBC is on the lower end of “Normal” , so it’s okay.

We get the WBC checked during nadir point (10th day) to know if blood levels are still good.

Goodluck with the last cycle!!

My WBC (taken 3 days back) was 1.95. I've checked with my doctor and he told me not to worry and take the CBC test again on Monday.

As to whether GOD will help you or not, I am sure you will have to ask GOD.

As far as I am concerned, Man created God, not the other way around.

For sure, as someone here would say : To each his own :-)

And, I would reply : Goes without saying :-)

If the believers on this board are allowed to write/preach freely, why shouldn't an agnostic

like I get a chance to speak my mind (once in a while) ?? :-)

Cheers !!! Try and enjoy life w/o panicking all the time !!!

I'm personally happier thinking my diagnosis was due to bad luck rather than a deliberate choice by an omnipotent being. I can't prove things one way or the other, and encourage people to pray for me if that's what they want to do. My mom even has me on the prayer list at her church.

I do sometimes find myself wondering if all the gods worshipped by earthlings are actually lab partners in some godly biology class working on their "create life" assignment. Maybe they got a B with the comment "human knees are a poor design" :-)

I can also say I've had demonstrably better results taking with my oncologist than taking with God.

I usually say "to each his own." Speaking for myself I (and I would guess most of our members) don't give a rats ass as to whether or not someone believes in a deity. We are in this fight together and I just hope that all of us believe in laughter............

And, so my reply to your "to each his own", would be "goes without saying" :-)

I disagree with you that the majority on this board are non-believers or don't

care whether others believe or not. Otherwise, all the regular references to

prayer, God, etc would not be posted here on a regular basis. In fact, I actually think

that people on this board believe that one of the ways to either cure cancer or

prolong ones life is to have faith and pray to a deity.

We are not in this "fight" together as each of us is a different person with

varying degrees of cancer. I will never blindly follow what others might say.

As regards laughter, despite all the praises you receive, to be blunt, I don't

think your humor is particularly good. It tends to be sexually oriented mostly

with you having a definite obsession with your supposed ex-wife :-)

But, otherwise, yes, humor (and laughter) is definitely an excellent trait

to have or cultivate.

Cheers !!

Lighten up Carlos, lighten up! I do hope you are doing well today. Enjoy.

Hi monte1111,

No, I am not doing particularly well, but that was hardly the reason for my arguing with people on this board. Different points of view, that's all.

I know the done thing is to be "politically correct" and not rock the boat. That's not my nature, however :-)

But, perhaps, it may be better for me not to waste my time replying (considering the paucity of time left for me) and just concentrate on other matters.

Thanks for your advice, monte1111, I know you mean well.

All the very best to you !!!

Carlos de Souza.

Oh God here we go again:👀

"In fact, I actually think

that people on this board believe that one of the ways to either cure cancer or

prolong ones life is to have faith and pray to a deity."

A FACT OR YOU THINK???

"As regards laughter, despite all the praises you receive, to be blunt, I don't

think your humor is particularly good. It tends to be sexually oriented mostly

with you having a definite obsession with your supposed ex-wife :-)"

TO EACH HIS OWN!!!

1) A FACT OR YOU THINK -----Just read the board and you will also come to the same conclusion that I have. And, if you don't come to the same conclusion, we can agree to disagree.

2) TO EACH HIS OWN ---- Repeating that phrase does not prove anything. Here too we can agree to disagree.

I only disagree to agree on days that end in Y. Agreed or to each his own?

Of course, TO EACH HIS OWN. I would never expect anyone to agree with me on everything I say.

And, vice versa.

That is why the correct reply to "to each his own" is that "it goes without saying".
