Age 70 in August Started the fight 6/2011 gleason 8 psa 7 proton radiation. update 9/12/18 psa 4.8 testosterone 13.9 pet scan 3mets pelvis area started zytiga/predisone with 6mths eligard. 4/02/19 psa 2.62 testosterone 8 4/05/19 switched predisone to dexamethasone. (thanks to the advice of this wonderful group) 4/25/19 psa 2.40 5/16/19 6month eligard Now psa 8.13 testosterone 10 8/09/19 Nuc Med Scan showed 4 more new mets to the spine and hip 8/20 visted MO he said zytiga stopped wants to put me on Xtandi but what should I do for the Mets radiation or something else and should I go on Docetaxel trying to do best for me. appreciate your input.

I would consider going to Docetaxel at this point, then possibly coming back to Xtandi after that. Here is some information about results for patients using Docetaxel after Abiraterone.

I would also be looking to have molecular testing done for genetic mutations (such as BRCA1, BRCA2, and ATM) to see if there are any targeted treatments available. This is what I would do and you can dicsuss this with your doctor since we are not giving medical advice here.

With your multiple mets, docetaxel has the best track record. Xtandi might even work better afterwards, Also Xofigo may be a good therapy now. I like Xofigo or docetaxel combined with Provenge. All good options worth discussing with your oncologist.
