Erleada Update

I have been on Erleada + Lupron + Xgeva since January 2019.

My PSA has dropped from 13.4 to 1.4.

I have had very bad nausea for 7 months.

Nothing helped, phenegran, compazine or zofran.

I also had gastric bypass 4 years ago. Protein intake was very important.

I decided to change my diet. I have cut out all meat, poultry AND sugar. I eat fish, shellfish, fruit, eggs and dairy. I barely have ANY nausea any longer.

YAY

Just wanted to share!

Oh hell. I do that too. Does absolutely nothing for the nausea, but it does help with my attitude!

Maybe you need the strong Thc oil . I do that too.

As I was reading your post I said "YAY" just before I read your own "YAY". Being your own advocate is very important! Good luck.

Hi Romans - Being single and an only child I have learned I need to be hyper sensitive about what transpires. I do hate doctors. In January I thought I had bad gas, ended up having emergency surgery. 😉

I’m glad you bounced back from that one ..

"very bad nausea for 7 months" !!!

That must have been hell! It's terrific that you have conquered this problem and without drugs!

You are an inspiration.

Best of luck.

Thanks. There are many others here that are much more inspirational than me! Sometimes the docs don't know everything!!

that's great.... hope things continue to be positive for you.... I only had one six month shot of eligard /lupron.... I hated it's effects and stopped treatment before the next round.... I have no idea what my psa is.... haven't been tested since stopping treatment so I can't say how effective the shot was..... thank you for sharing your good news...

Hi

If you were administered both meds, you can’t just stop. You can’t be like an ostrich and put your head in the sand.

I tried to as well. But trust me, metastasis is worse - a lot worse. This is my 5th round of Lupron. Now it is in conjunction with Erleada. Please reconsider and take care of yourself. I am not trying to be mean or rude. But, please, you must look at the whole picture.

Hi...I’m late to this post...I’ve been on Erleada since March 2018. I understand the nausea. For me it was the sugar. I stopped it cold turkey, and I’m much better. Been through almost all the side effects, including the falling down
