Obinutuzimab - anyone get nauseous?
So I’m hoping to begin my obin infusions this week - just curious why they prescribed two different nausea pills Zophan and
Compazine
along with the allopurinol. I thought Obin is well tolerated - has anyone been nauseous and vomiting with this infusion?

Parkinson’s Treatment Tips on the Worst Drugs for Parkinson’s DiseaseParkinson’s Treatment Tips on the Worst Drugs for Parkinson’s Disease
These drugs include Prochlorperazine (
Compazine
), Promethazine (Phenergan), and Metoclopramide (Reglan). They should be avoided. Also, drugs that deplete dopamine such as reserpine and tetrabenazine may worsen Parkinson’s disease and parkinsonism and should be avoided in most cases.

What can happen with V+O in 3 months
I did have a weird reaction 3 days after each infusion (jitters and restlessness for 2 days) but we concluded that was a reaction to the
Compazine
I took for 3 days after each infusion as a precaution for nausea. I stopped the
Compazine
and have had no issues and no meds for nausea.

Meds that exasperate RLS
They gave the the “migraine cocktail” that consists of Toradol, Decadron, Benadryl, and
Compazine
. I don’t know what was worse... the headache or RLS. I suffered for 2 nights until it was out of my system. From here on out, I will refuse any meds that’s on the no-no list!

Stopping Braftovi Mektovi targeted medications
We reviewed all the meds and Wayne will continue to test oral Marinol (THC) for nausea control to see if it's less sedating than the
compazine
. Will see if zofran can be reprised inbetween for doses, if not, back to
compazine
.

Erleada Update
Nothing helped, phenegran,
compazine
or zofran. I also had gastric bypass 4 years ago. Protein intake was very important. I decided to change my diet. I have cut out all meat, poultry AND sugar. I eat fish, shellfish, fruit, eggs and dairy. I barely have ANY nausea any longer.

Interesting ER Experience
They finally gave me the headache cocktail of benedryl, toradol, and
compazine
. The nurse warned me that
compazine
can cause anxiety. I did not have those side effects, but it almost immediately kicked my severe Rls into high gear.

Taxol IV chemo date set.
Take 5
compazine
pills day before so I don't get nauseous. After 4 treatments will have blood work or petscan. She may not do 12 treatments if tests show it is stopped before. Said I am lucky it is still in bones only. I hope it works. I am going to try and post a picture with my new wig.

Zomeda side effects question
The doctor prescribed
compazine
today, but I still feel sick. Has anyone else dealt with this? Does it last past 48 hours which I was told might happen? Any suggestions for the nausea? ? I tried
compazine
when I was first diagnosed in 2004. I don’t recall getting g any relief.

Frustration and Mollaret's
I was given the typical Benedetto
compazine
cocktail after waiting for an hour for the dr to say it was okay. This Dr treated me as though I was exaggerating the pain and was saying my symptoms could match so many medical causes.

My question is about side effects of carbo/taxol. How long do they last, any clever management strategies out there?
Any suggestions on managing symptoms (giving her
compazine
, torodal for pain, miralax for constipation, love/kindness/and back rubs for the loss of spirit). Any thoughts on holding up hope? I am feeling lost myself. thank you all

Beating Down Chemo's Ill Effects
Compazine
is often effective in that it blocks dopamine. You should take it about three hours after chemo and for two or three days after treatment. If you still start to feel nauseous, you can add Zofran to your arsenal; to be taken at the first twinge of upset. Diet may help fight nausea too.

Follow up to my last post
My wife looked this up and it is described as follows- Prochlorperazine (
Compazine
, Stemzine, Buccastem, Stemetil, Phenotil) is a dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist that belongs to the phenothiazine class of antipsychotic agents that are used for the antiemetic treatment of nausea and vertigo.
