My husband has been on Zytiga since June Psa is still going down which is good today reading was 0.14 but scans show lesions are not being effective. Luckily since on medication the pain he had in groin area is gone. Has more pain in ribs he is having an infusion of Xofigo today and come back in 2 months to repeat CT scan and nuclear scan and to take to radiologist about having radiation on the rib area. He is not looking forward to more radiation but better than the chemo I guess

Xofigo is contraindicated in patients being treated with Zytiga.

No I was way off it is Zometa that they used. He has hardly any pain today but did get sick this am

I'm wondering why they gave him Xofigo while he is currently taking Zytiga? It's well known that the combination could possibly cause problems.

I hope they can get it all knocked down before chemo. I had 6 cycles of Taxotere in Tulsa back in 2015 and really brought my numbers down (.3) from 203. The treatment was not bad on me, I know some guys have different side effects.
