Am I really all alone ?

I don't think there is anyone out there like me, with my kind of problems. ADD for me is by far the worst thing in my life. I can't laugh at it, or look at the bright side, etc. It just torments me , erodes my quality of life, destroys any self esteem I might have had. I can't get used to it, I can't accept it, I iust have to suffer through it until it's all over. Nothing changes, nothing works. It's just more relentless at some times than others. Once in a while it seems to go away, then it comes back with a vengeance. I hate it so much I can't put it into words. It seems like for everyone else it's just an inconvenience. For me it's a way of life, although I don't want it to be. Low self esteem, depression, despair, anxiety, self loathing, etc etc. Those are my endless "gifts of ADD". It's the absolute worst, no contest. Is there anybody like me out there? Just wondering. If there isn't, that's a good thing

is it possible that autism is present as well? I have heard that can really intensify things .

Really, there are a lot of folks dealing with it to all sorts of degrees. You are not alone! Have you sought help, or medication? Those things can help with some of the other stuff that goes with it like depression, anxiety, and more. It is fine to vent here--people totally understand.

This was my question too.

Have you sought help or medication?

Have you been diagnosed?

Bro you're so not alone!! I feel the same way all the time. You need to get into therapy if you're not and re learn to love yourself. Your adhd is apart of you. It doesn't define you.
