Forum feature: Post can be Shared with "Everyone" or "Community only"

I just noticed at the bottom of the form to create a post on this forum, there's a drop down box labelled "Share".

...I wonder how long that's been there?

Since some of the topics that we post and discuss here are of a personal or sensitive nature (at least emotionally speaking), I thought that I should point this out.

The default option is to share with "Everyone".

For general topics of discussion, I'm fine with that. But I'm a private person, and so when I know I'll be posting about issues that I'm sensitive about (or protective of, like discussing things about my kids), I'll definitely be opting to share to "Community only" from now on.

Just thought I'd bring some awareness to this option, for anyone else that feels similarly.

so that’s different than the lock at the top of the post? I wonder if they do the same thing…

Maybe the site loads differently between PC and mobile, or Apple vs Android.

I usually use my Android phone to come here. (Occasionally I use my laptop.)

I don't see a lock at the top of the post.

Interesting! It’s also possible they have revamped their site since I’ve made a post.
