We were figuring out the numbers on retiring at 62 or waiting until whatever your full retirement age is (depending on birth year) and discovered that while you get less initially at 62, it evens out over time, and you end up with the same amount of money. I'm going to retire at 62 and have more time to hopefully enjoy things more.
Here's an interesting publication put out by Social Security:
BTW, many stores now offer curbside pick up for free! (That could help out your pizza habit) Try it out and see how you like it. Much cheaper to cook for yourself- plus lots healthier as well. BTW, you can still get stuff premade from the stores too.
Hi it's Shnook. Thank U so much for your helpful advice and sources to go over. I need to crunch my numbers and do research and do the suggested reading and research U gave me.
The food stuff looks yummy However I've gained the COVID 22 and need to get into a healthier routine. Obviously this is easier said than done. And truth be known I don't know if I'll get back to the weight that I was in my early '30s, I just need to look and feel better and get some of my energy back. I'm so lucky to have group support here. It's so comforting.
