Hi 👋 this is Shnookie. I’m in a yuck 🤢 mood. Was planning to go out to doctor appointment. Looked into my purse and can’t find keys. Table where I place things a mess and my BP is elevated on top. Now I need to cancel appointment. I feel so shamed and embarrassed. Last time I lost my keys took 4 hours !! to find them. After
I finish this post, I’m going to lay back, do
deep breathing exercises, a pinch of my Clonozapem which my shrink said I can do when I’m home to relax and then organize my table and search 4 my keys.
Thank U for letting me vent.
Hugs 🤗 S

I can empathize, Shnookie! That's why I have two sets of keys and a key rack by the door. Also, I tie a long red ribbon on my keys, so the ribbon always sticks out of my pocket. (I dropped them at a yard sale this past Saturday, and I was able to describe "they're attached to a long red ribbon," so it gave people something to look for--they were found! Have you tried one of those key locator thingies? I'm not sure what they're called, but there are a few brands around. Good luck ... it's OK to vent! ADHD can be frustrating!!! 👍
Thank U so much for your empathy and good tips and ideas. Right now I have just one set of keys 🔑 that R in a plastic bag. I’m going to start looking for them soon again.
Thank U for the support. It's been 7 hours and I still can't find them. I have a part-time job and couldn't make it to work last Thursday because I had an ADHD running late day and I was out of sorts. If I had the money, I would get a life coach. When I do find the keys this time, I'm going to put them in a drawer in my kitchen. I think my purse fell over in the living room because I found other things on the floor from my purse. I might move my purse into my kitchen next to my computer. My nerves R shot. I'll tell U guys when I find the keys. hugs Shnookie
Yay 😀 after 10 hours !!, I finally found my keys 🔑The point is that this is impeding upon my life. I needed to reschedule a doctor appointment because I couldn’t find my keys. I feel drained and disgusted. I’ll be going to sleep 😴 in a few minutes. Thanks 4 your support. Hugs 🤗S
I was getting perpetually frustrated by my great skill in losing keys. I ended up buying two Tiles (locators).
If you invest in the Pro version of the Tile itself (not the software), you can replace the battery and don't have to buy a new one. It uses bluetooth, so you do need to be in the vicinity of the tile and keep your bluetooth on. I think you can get a pack of 2 Tiles for like $50 or so.
The great news is that you can also locate your phone using your keys (or whatever else you attach it to).
I have a tile on my purse, a tile on my keys, and the app on my phone - so I can find any of those.
The battery lasted about a year or maybe a bit more. They're both dead now so now I have to actually remember to buy batteries to replace it, and then do it... lol. The batteries are fairly inexpensive though, the same type you put into a TV Remote.
I didn't bother paying for the upgraded version of the app, because I really only lose these things at my house, not when I'm out. If you lose them when you're out, then paying for the upgraded app might be of benefit to you.
I HATE ADD mornings! For a time, I actually had a big green rubber lobster attached to my keys. It actually got detached from the keys somehow after a few years, but it was fun while it lasted. Now I have two sets of keys which helps -- but not with losing my glasses :)! I love your courage in taking on a new project. All the best!
Thank U 4 your supportive text. It took me 9 hours !! to find my keys. I’m getting great support and tips from U guys. My ADHDis getting on my nerves lately.
wow i absolutely feel with with you, i've never looked that long for something, but then again i've lost so many things, i would've found if maybe i looked 9 hours.
They were located on the floor right near the kitchen. The huge problem was that I had brain fog and was hyperfocusing in just one area and totally blocked out I’m lookimh
