zoloft??

Hi! Does anyone have a child taking Zoloft? My almost 12 yo son takes Focalin xr plus 100 mg of Zoloft for anger/anxiety/emotional outbursts. (He takes a very small does of Guanfacine at night but I don’t know that it does much) Lately his attitude is very crabby/cranky/angry. I know hormones can affect all of these medications so that could be an issue. If anyone has any feedback on pros or cons of Zoloft, can you give me some insight? He’s been on it for about 2 years and it’s been successful until now. Thank you!

it’s coming n for people to gain resistance o medications over time, especially when growing. Have you looked into a higher dose?

I don’t know about Zoloft, but Guanfacine is generally used for blood pressure. It didn’t work well for my family. Has he been sleeping ok? Those symptoms are usual for sleep deprivation. You could get a gene sight test too.
