Focalin XR

He was placed on focalin XR 20 and was doing well until march. He started having this severe fear of bees and wouldn't go outside. He has always been active , outdoors and fully immersed in sports. It was debilitating. The doctor added in risperidone for him being irritable.

My almost 12 yo son takes Focalin xr plus 100 mg of Zoloft for anger/anxiety/emotional outbursts. (He takes a very small does of Guanfacine at night but I don’t know that it does much) Lately his attitude is very crabby/cranky/angry.

I noticed this also with short act Focalin, but more since starting Quillivant XR. She seems more short fused with frustration than previously (noted with both Focalin and Quillivant XR. ) When these concerns were mentioned to the psychiatrist, she switched from Focalin to Quillivant XR.

My son (11) has been on Focalin XR for about 2 months (5mg the first month - no effect, and now 10mg). We've noticed that around 7pm, he often can get super down and sad. It's not every night, but it's at least a couple times a week.

My son is now 14 years old. He has been diagnosed with adhd, odd and anxiety disorder. Has autistic tendencies. This has been an extremely rough year. He is such a sweet and kind kid and always tries to do the right thing, but is drawn towards chaos and bad kids. He is a pretty respectful kid.I love
