Started Active 10 nearly two weeks ago. Pushed to X3 too quickly and managed to pull/tear a muscle in the arch of my right foot! It was too painful to continue walking, however, after ice and rest for a few days I am now back on the streets. Taking progress more slowly this time.

yes, slow and steady.
SunnyCornerA30min a day
Overdoing it is easily done!
DerbyshireLadA120min a day
I started by doing the same distance on 3 days a week and did that for a month. Then I increased the middle one of the three only. Two weeks later the first and last outing were longer. Then again another two weeks on all three were the increased distance. For example;
111
121
212
222
And then by increments I improved my performance in a safe and assured way that allowed my body to accustom to the change. You will find your own rhythm for own improvement based on your experience.
PS I have just started sit ups and push ups using this process.
Take care
Think I'm in the same boat but it's my achilies so I'm backing off now, good luck
