#25DayChallenge - What a day... and it’s not over yet…

Only half of the day is over and soooo much has been happening in our household!

My university-going son arrived back from uni last night, and it was so nice to have him home again!

Hubby took off early this morning to pick up a 2nd hand treadmill we are taking off someone’s hands. 😃 I’ve been wanting a treadmill for running and walking for ages, as I just imagined that I’d get more walks in specifically in the dark evenings when I wouldn’t head out onto our dark-ish field paths.

But I never was sure that we would use it, and so many criteria needed to be ticked off, like we didn’t want a heavy one or a noisy one, but one which worked for hubbys fast-ish running and also my slow joggling and walking. So when we saw this opportunity come along, we thought we could try it out.

So hubby was off to pick it up first thing on waking.

I did a morning row (20min) on my indoor rower until son woke up! And then the two of us breakfasted together, chatting.

I went out for my 15min walk (ticking of my 26th day), and son went out to check the local charity shops for shirts and jeans.

On my return, hubby just got back and we set up our newest addition to our fitness stuff! Our first EVERRRR treadmill! (I’m very excited! Even though it’s pretty basic)

Then son returned and showed off his charity funds, 3 tops and 2 trousers, and all fit him perfectly !

We all had a go at the treadmill, which works perfectly for all of us! 😁🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃‍♂️

And then we all had lunch together.

Amazing day, and it’s only half over!

Great day for you. I bought a treadmill, took it back same day the noise and thought the ceiling was coming in. Did your son bring all his washing back ?! Or is he fully domesticated?

He didn’t! We were immensely surprised, but he’s settled in his student accommodation and has everything he needs there. So no washing!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Just quality time! 😃

Have fun on your treadmill 😀👍 I have used one at a gym, ages ago, and quite liked it but only for shortish distances.
