Hi eveyone,

In my first post "A work in progress" I talked about discovering the 1,000,000 step challenge that is set between 1st of July to September 30th ... So 92 days to complete the challenge.

I am now three weeks in and this is my progress so far:

Steps w3 = 160,046 steps

Distance walked = 133 Km

Hours walked = 25 hours

Brisk walking = 1080 mins (18H)

Calories 9,611 kcal

I have now completed 501,044 steps since 1st July and still on target.

The niggles of last week (a tight left hamstring) by midweek had disappeared... so a pain free last 4 days to the week.

I visited the oldest church in Warwickshire, found an aqueduct on the canal and an ice cream shop in Henley... the queue was too long though on a warm Sunday. All of these I found walking around Henley in Arden to Wooton Wawen and back. Again I really enjoyed being out in the Midlands countryside.

My maps have had the dust wiped off of them and this coming weekend Ombersley / River Severn will be my stomping ground.

I hope all of you are enjoying having fun with your own challenges.

Alan
