Afternoon walk

My neighbour has signed up for Parkrun so we walked part of where it goes this afternoon. I'm enjoying what my phone does with photos.

Was it something big this month? That sea is big

Wow! Those are stunning photos.. If the resolution is good enough they are worth having blown up on canvas to hang on your wall. Really beautiful skies and plant groupings and gorgeous colours

I'm tempted to have some out on canvas, I did one for my daughter after our trip to Devon in May and it looks lovely, the sky was quite dramatic today.

It certainly was.. which phone do you have? My old iPhone 7 is on the blink so I’m trying to find a new one, and I’d like one with a better camera. I’m used to iPhones now, but I’m dithering..

I dithered and dithered, then calculated the difference in price and bought a Motorola 20 edge pro 😁 it took me 2 minutes to realise it was great and now almost 9 months later I still love it, and I saved a lot of money by not buying the iPhone, but we are all different, you'd have to compare and decide 😄

Thanks.. I’ll have a look at that one. I’ve been dithering for ages as I keep having to delete stuff from this phone and turn it off and on again.. it’s limping on but my contract runs out soon and I want to change provider so I’m trawling through for deals!

There are a lot of good deals out there and unless your eyesight is perfect and you are a professional photographer you wouldn't notice the difference in photographic quality, but I do believe the new iPhones have better low light photos, although this one isn't bad

Great photos Sue, well done to your neighbour on signing up for parkrun. ✅✅

Whether she'll go just yet is debatable but she's signed up

It seems to happen a lot, people sign up for parkrun but never actually run, my daughter walked parkrun last year as a 'unknown', signed up to go back this year but changed her mind when I recently asked her "when are you going back to parkrun"? she replied that she wasn't going back but she has instead taken up archery.

Simply beautiful. I have beach envy!

If I hadn't taken the car I'd have gone in but I know what salty wet bodies do to the car seat

Good photos and that’s great you’ll have company on Park run. The skies look really moody.

Well done on introducing someone else to parkrun Sue! Love the photos! Isn’t the sea great? Your beach looks a lot like ours, with the shingle and greenery.

It's my new favourite place to run, I've always loved the beach and it's very special on not perfect weather days, I intend to go there more often

It certainly is! I’m also mightily enjoying your photos of the big, blue sea and shire! No matter the weather, this kind of landscape always looks impressive!

Great photos, great walk!
