Runniversary Walk πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

I couldn’t run today as I ran yesterday , but I wanted to do something to celebrate my Runniversary, which I share with Instructor57 .

So - I went on my longest walk (according to Strava) of over 11km. It was a mixed walk, typical of the Berkshire town I live in, some of it built up and some of it going through lovely woodland areas. I must be getting fitter as I managed it fairly easily in something over 2 hours. It was warm, though!

I had a purpose for this walk;I wanted to check out the local park run! I’m not ready to try it yet, although I may go down soon just to be part of the community and perhaps even walk it as they are encouraging people to do that now! It’s a recreation ground and has a cafΓ©! I had to stop for a break of course, it would have been rude not to…..β˜•οΈπŸͺ

Happy walking! 😊

Happy runniversary Jools2020 ! Sounds as though you celebrated it very nicely. A lovely walk and a café stop. I hope there was some celebration 🍰 involved 😊.

Wonderful! You seem to have a lot of handy cafes! Lucky you!I also walked a long way today with a friend. It's nice to get a decent walk in between our runs!

yes, I’m trying to walk more, although I don’t think I’ll be going on 11K walks that often.

Maybe I only go on walks that end up near cafΓ©s πŸ˜€

Exactly! Thank you. 😊

It doesn’t do any harm for me to remind myself about one of my goals! I’m hoping to be ready to do that park run in July.
