I was out doing a short walk this morning along the river on my route to get newspaper. The first two photos are part of the river that they fish for Salmon. Saw a few cars near the hut.but no sign of the fishermen. Parts of the river is quite low as you can see, but a few months ago in full flood. . The other two photos of the walk in Moffat when we met Mr D daughter that got married and they are on the way south before off to Utah , USA. We went into the park saw the putting green, went past the pond which the boats were on, a lot of people out today, sunny for a change, and the the last photo was of the river than runs along the path near the pond. Mr D daughter took off and mr D and I had a game of putting, getting revenge on him for beating me at St Andrews. Change of scenery today.

What a lovely place to walk, and it sounds like an enjoyable time
Love your photos Doris8! I always like the look and sound of water running over stones. There's a freshness about it somehow. Those swan boats look like fun - are they pedalos? Have you ever tried them out?
Sue
yes they’re pedalos. I’ve never tried them before. We don’t live at the place where the pedalos are just meeting there, a bendy road journey to get there. Wouldn’t like to do that route a lot, but it’s nice park and walks when we get there.
Lovely photos of your walks Doris8, glad you enjoyed them. Well done for beating Mr D at putting.
