St Andrews wedding … short walks

Mr D and I were at St Andrews for his daughter’s wedding. It was cold and Misty. We are staying for a few days after wedding to relax but it has been really cold and Misty, the sea very rough and stormy. We went to the Aquarium at St Andrews to escape the cold for a few hours and went out for a meal . Just counting my steps as kms on these walks, haven’t connected to Garmin or Strava on walks , just manually adding to Strava for my miles. Today Saturday weather not much better, went around the shops , walked along the sea front , took some photos and had a game of putting to get the kms up., so walking kms went down this week.

Sorry the weather isn't a bit better for you Doris8, when there are cold east winds St Andrews isn't very pleasant, I often go to St Andrews but not when the weather is cold with a east wind, I hope you enjoyed your walk and the meal warmed you up a bit,When I go to St Andrews when the weather is nice I go a 6 kilometer walk along past the Aquarium, St Andrews University to East Sands, have a takeaway at the burger steak shop then back past the harbour to West Sands at St Andrews golf course, but I go there when it's nice and warm with a westerly wind, not easterly.

Yes thanks ALMorr . A good walk along there, Even though it was Misty people were playing golf. They must have had orange gold balls

Shame about the weather but at least you are still out and about 🙂

Cold and chill walks! I find a bit of a window-shopping walk is not a bad thing! And I reminisce of heading into a cafe after some cold blustery winds, which is always such a welcome treat! Enjoy!

Shame about the weather, but all those short walks still add up, and you got out and about and not stayed stuck indoors 🙂
