The weather today was a lot colder more frosty than yesterdays walk. My walk today was through the local village and then instead of the roads today went along the riverside, not as muddy as Monday as had to wash trail shoes . Lovely day blue skies , a lot of people about , walkers and dog walkers. Back through the town and back for soup and baked potato.

This is fab! That looks like such a lovely place to walk.
There’s something great about 5km, isn’t there. On my guided run this morning, the coach pointed out that however far you’re going, 5km is always a notable distance to have covered. Very satisfying! I’m envious of the sunshine in your beautiful pictures. Grey and miserable here. Soup and a spud is the perfect winter lunch!
