10km walk with Mr D

Mr D decided to come an early morning walk . A cool 12 degrees walk, very windy but very pleasant morning. We went first to a small village then over the bridge and Bambi 🦌 ran across the road in front of us, too quick on its feet for me to get phone out. Mr D doing a slow jog beside me , he’s desperate to go faster. Through another wee village and over another bridge to the waterside. Met quite a few dog walkers there. Mr D finished at a different part from me , he jogged the last km around the local rugby area on road, and I went and did my lastkm on grass, softer but more tiring on legs, only 1 min difference between my walking and jog time . Definitely slow jog. My time was 1 hour 32 minutes. Has a busy couple of days in garden so sitting with feet up now , back a bit sore with digging, edging garden. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 😀

Good walk for you Doris8, nice that Mr D went along with you and you ran the last kilometer, as for me, this morning I went a 2 hour bike ride after yesterday's parkrun.

Yes, but it's not as hot as on Friday, today about 19C compared to around 32C on Friday.

What a lovely walk/run and with MrD as well. Those are the best.

We don't manage this often, as we run/walk at different speeds, but so enjoyable when it does.

You saw a deer? So nice! I only ever saw a deer (in the wild) 1 time when I was walking on a holiday in a forest. Couldn't get a picture of it either, but it felt so special! Also, your walk sounds nice, walking through small villages and such. A bit jealous over here 😉
