Congratulations, you have done very well indeed, now just relax for the big one on Sunday.

My watch keeps saying “move” 🤣

Isn’t that annoying? I turned it off to preserve sanity & equilibrium. 🤣

It is... but it’s kept me moving during taper...

What it needs is the opposite function... a “beer bar” hit goals and it says “you’re done, have a pint” 🤣

Thanks... wanted to see how long I could keep it brisk, and was very impressed with myself, I was expecting the second half to slow down.

Ok....what’s all this about? 🙄😂😂😂! Sounds like it could be good, but maybe a little challenging to fit more things to do in the daily routine. Curiosity? 🤭❤️

Active 10... 3 x 10 minutes of brisk walking a day... big health benefits, unlike 10k steps, and easy to fit in to a busy life. Running counts too, so you’d not be doing it every day.

Active 10 means going into HR zone 2, and scores towards the 150 minutes of cardio a week recommended by the NHS... running can go HR zone 2-5 the higher rates score double as far as the 150 target is concerned, but it gets complicated as different HR zones give different benefits. Or... you could just go walk/run and not worry about those stats... something like mapmywalk will keep you going at the right pace, the active 10 app records the stats that really matter.

Cool... I find it a great motivator to not get in the car... by supermarket is about 10 minutes brisk walking away... of course some weeks I now spend more time there than their staff as the weekly shop is hard to carry home 🤣

I think there’s lots of benefits to getting out. Maybe the weekly shop would be too much of a challenge, but walking is a good form of meditation to clear the head. It would be good for my getting out and staying active in all weather’s mission. A few extra pounds off too before Christmas maybe? 🤞🏽😂 I’m going to try it! ❤️

Very good! But not quite the thing - I think you are meant to put in active tens every day! But bask in the fabulous achievement for today.

You’re absolutely correct, it’s a daily thing... I went back to my normal 3 for a couple of days after that one.
