Good morning all new to this forum. I suffered a knee injury 7 weeks ago and have been unable to walk any distance. I am slowly recovering. I have missed getting out and about mentally as much as physically this week I am trying to do a short walk every day and just listen to my knee if it gets too much a will take a step back pardon the pun! Looking forward to being motivated by people who will inspire me to get off my .....and get going x

Good to read that you’re recovering and some gentle exercise will really help that. A short walk is great... after any injury it’s best to start small and easy and then build up again. Your knee will let you know if it’s too much too soon, and some steps back may be needed, which you’re prepared for. Enjoy getting out and about and your journey back to a fitter more active you.

Glad to hear you are ready to start the road to recovery. I always say the best thing to tell yourself is that you are going to do this recovery lark once and do it well. There is a time when you think you can do more and it is the most dangerous time in your healing process so take it nice and steady. Small slow increases and you will back up to speed and as strong as ever. Take care of yourself and keep coming back and let us know how you are doing. Rfc x
