Not on this forum! We hardly ever have posts about food, only if someone has been for a long walk and has a nice meal as a reward. 😀.

Have a look. That's all that is on this forum. What I had for dinner etc. Yum yum ? in there eyes. I am actually really put off these posts. I have been a T1 for more than 53yrs & hate sweet foods. Can you imagine being T1 since being 3 ?. I love life but ! I have never been unemployed in my life, determination ?

I guess you are part of different forums to me. On the active10, couch25k, Bridge to 10km and Stregnth and Flex ( the forums I am part of ) we only really talk about food as fuel and not that often. Everyone will have different timelines and posts coming up depending on which forums they are part of.

Thank you Realfoodieclub. ! I would love to talk to kids & parents of young T1s. I have been National Champ 3 times on Catamaran. Been to Asia on my motorbike, done c2c. Hadrian's wall & Coast & Castles on peddle bike, life is for LIVING !

What’s not healthy about food. I think it’s great to share different perspectives on food. I have dieted for most of my adult life and thanks to everyone sharing their information I have discovered after over forty years I have been lead into eating foods which have only made me struggle with my weight. Having said that maybe you are right.

If yo knew anything about the DIFFERANCE between T1 & T2 diabetes you might understand. 53 yrs of having to EAT. No choice whatsoever. The only way my mother could get me to go to school was to give me 6pts of milk a day. How dare you say FOOD is healthy !

I'm sorry you feel that way but a lot of people find it helps them find different ideas. And I do know the difference between T1 and 2 diabetes and food is healthy and nowadays the approach is much different to years ago. You don't have to read the posts about food.

This might hurt you but how dare you talk to people like that. We all have struggled and no one talks about sweet food just healthy food

As soon as I see a teenager with a huge Pizza & a 2lt bottle of pop I say to my self " there is another one" . There was an article in Balance which told of the highest rate of T2 in the country. I went on Google Earth & seen how many takeaways in the main street ?
